For those who don't know, Marmalade Boy's author is a woman named Wataru Yoshizumi, even though this is not her real name. She was born in Tokyo the 18th June 1963, so that means she is Gemini, and her blood type is A. She is not married, as far as I know. She has a sister living in New York, and two nieces (Aya and Lisa).

The first work she had published was Radical Romance (1984) and it was a short story. Since then she has been publishing regularly in the Ribon magazine or her "little sisters" like Ribon Original. Her latest manga is Ultra Maniac, which is now being published (for details, see section : "The Other Mangas").

She loves to receive photo-stickers (purikura), and once she said that she had more than 2000. She is also a Pingu fan and she likes playing tennis and other kind of sports. She likes to receive letters from the fans, even though she cannot answer all them, so here is the address:
